March 19th we where present at the Emerce eRetail event. Together with Bruna's Marc Tomassen we took the stage in order to present insights on the future of e-commerce.
Marc Tomassen gave an insightful talk on the digital future of Bruna. Digital is the new normal for the modern consumer, this also means that 'utilize' is more important than 'owning'. Where some retail organizations judge the new reality as threatening, Bruna embraces and sees opportunities. The almost 150-year-old chain brings digital to the shopping floor and recently launched Bliyoo, the first subscription, all you can read based app in the Netherlands. Marc Tomassen presented a clear vision on the future of Bruna and the underlying infrastructure.
